KLR is one of the fastest growing professional services firms in New England. We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level MS-SQL Server Developer to help us develop queries, custom and AD-Hoc reporting, and provide help desk support out of our Providence, RI office.

As an MS-SQL Server Developer you will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities

• Develop queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2012+
• Custom and Ad-Hoc reporting
• Provide help desk support
• Assist end users with issues regarding: network, computers, network connection issues and software
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot software.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Associates degree desired or 2 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with developing queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2012+: SSMS, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, SQL Jobs
• Experience with SSRS and Crystal Reporting
• Financial Systems background (STAR a plus)
• ASP.net Application development experience a plus
• Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10)
• Microsoft Office products (O365/2016) Teams, Outlook
• People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Polished organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Flexible attitude in an environment with varying priorities and management styles.
• Dependable - available to work after hours and weekends as needed is a must

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, including overtime sporadically through the year, which will require increasing normal weekly hours and weekends.
