Marketing Specialist

You’ll have the opportunity to work, in a hybrid capacity, amongst a team of professionals.

In this role, you will work directly with the Senior Marketing Manager to support the day-to-day execution of the Firm's marketing communications and business development programs. You will play an integral part in finding creative ways to promote our marketing campaigns and execute our social media marketing strategy as our firm grows. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, tech-savvy innovator with a passion for social media who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and diving into projects.

The Marketing Specialist will coordinate the day-to-day execution of the social media marketing communication for the firm and our affiliate companies. This position is full-time and will be based in the Firm’s Providence office.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop a social media content calendar that drives engagement, generates new leads and builds brand awareness to meet overall strategic goals and campaign objectives on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram for the firm and our affiliates.
  • Write copy, create branded graphics, source imagery and develop key messaging for all social posting
  • Create, track, monitor and execute inbound and outbound email marketing communication for the firm and our affiliates such as client alerts, newsletters and quarterly communications using Act-On (marketing automation platform)
  • Monitor and maintain KPI’s, track campaign results and communicate overall marketing results and suggestions
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of CRM and curation of lists to support targeted campaigns
  • Conduct, create and track Net Promoter Score (NPS) for KLR and sister companies and perform other surveys as needed
  • Assist with marketing related research
  • Track, coordinate and follow-up on all networking events to ensure participation and follow-through with contacts from events
  • Act as a marketing resource both internally and externally
  • Monitor and maintain brand continuity
  • Special projects as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing and communications in a professional B2B environment
  • Experience using social media management tools (SocialHP, Clearview Social, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer, Emplify) to post to Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent proofreading and copy editing skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Dynamics, Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop), Salesforce, and Marketing Automation Systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Adwords and SEO a plus
  • Knowledge of video creation/ editing, is a plus
  • Driven personality that takes initiative and can work autonomously. Be comfortable taking initiative and working with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude for learning new marketing technologies, staying on top of best practices and trends

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
