“Trust is the glue of life. It’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It’s the foundational principle that holds all relationships.”

Trust is without a doubt, a crucial part of any success story. A business cannot effectively function or succeed without holding trust as a core value. When a business maintains trust through and through, clients can believe that a business has their best interest and experience in mind. At KLR, we pride ourselves on the trust we uphold in all areas of our business, but don’t take our word for it…let our clients tell the story.

So much more than an accounting firm

Recently, we surveyed our clients using the Net Promoter Score (NPS) metric. NPS is a client loyalty metric that is based on our clients’ answers to one simple question—“How likely are you to recommend KLR to a friend or colleague?” After all, no one knows what the clients need better than the clients themselves.

The NPS tells us what we do well, what we excel at even, and just as important (if not, more)—what we need to improve upon.

Our 2020 score of 89 shows that we are delivering on our promise to keep our clients a top priority, especially during challenging and uncertain times. A score above 80 is considered “world class” by industry experts and KLR has maintained this rating for the third year in a row. The average rating in the accounting industry is 28%. KLR’s 2020 rating surpasses all years prior.

So, what makes us most valuable to our clients? Our passionate people, our responsiveness, our trustworthiness, and our expertise…every step of the way.

Let’s hear from them.

“Always great working with the KLR team!”

“Patience, knowledge, understanding my needs.”

“Real world strong business advice.”

“Very easy to work with, always available for guidance”

“Quality and consistency of the personnel”

Barbara’s Story

Barbara Mahoney, Chief Operating Officer at Leominster Credit Union was looking for an easier way to conduct an executive search. LCU had conducted searches on their own before, but the process took a lot of time and manpower. In their search for a CFO and Senior VP of Retail Banking, Barbara and her team decided to enlist the help of KLR Executive Search Group…and, as Barbara puts it, “It was the best choice we could have made!”

As Barbara says, “Sue is extremely thorough and took the time to pose questions that really made us think about who we were looking for. Every part of the process was so helpful and the KLR team always made sure to connect with us regularly.”

Chris’ story

Like Barbara, Chris Surette, VP of Operations at Matrix Power Services, Inc. appreciates the extensive efforts of the KLR team through every part of the process. In search of a new CFO, Chris and his team needed a search firm that would understand how potential candidates might fit in their organization. KLR prioritized this from the start, Chris recalls.

As he says, “There was very little heavy lifting on our part—the team quickly put together a list of candidates who were all extremely qualified and fitting for our organization.”

Chris appreciates the time the KLR team spent vetting our all candidates with the Matrix team, helping them understand their strengths and weaknesses and how they might fit.

Matrix’s new CFO embodies all the qualities Chris and his team were seeking. As he says, “We couldn’t be happier with our new CFO…it seems that Ed understood the position even better than we did!”

Instilling trust stretches beyond the 9-5, and KLR recognizes that, through and through. Our clients’ words and our world class NPS score assure us that our efforts to provide solutions to our clients are working. Every step of the way.
