Comfort and Confidence

John was looking for the perfect Human Resource director…someone who could roll up their sleeves and get right to work. “We consider this a very high level position,” says John. “We wanted the recruiting process to treat it that way.”

When John came to his friends at KLR with these wishes, it was clear to him that he came to the right place….again.

John and his team have enjoyed the opportunity to work with the KLR team on several search engagements through the years. What keeps me coming back?

Jim kept in touch with Chip Goode for many years, and they had often discussed Chip’s specialization in Human Resources search placements.

After working with their internal team, Jim realized SBLI needed a more in-depth search to find their new Head of Human Resources, so they decided to contact KLR.

Once Jim made that initial call to Chip, he knew he had made the right choice.

Rather than having candidates sit in a board room for several rounds of interviews, the team at SBLI preferred to take each candidate around the office, stopping by to introduce them to different managers, executives, and people they will be working with every day…..a process KLR was happy to accommodate.

Jim was impressed with the time and dedication the KLR team put into the candidate search. As Jim says, “They sourced a great field of candidates for us. All 8 finalists were extremely qualified.”

In the end, the “winning” candidate, Jennifer Muldoon, was the most fitting choice for SBLI, and Jim couldn’t be more pleased with his decision and KLR’s help.
