Caputi, CPA has joined the firm as a Principal in the Firm’s Audit Services Group. Elise joins the firm after most recently working as a Partner in a national accounting firm. Elise has 20+ years of experience in public accounting and has significant experience working with a broad range of clients in various industries, including residential real estate, not-for-profit, employee benefits plans, closely-held businesses, venture capital investment funds, and housing authorities. Elise’s residential real estate experience includes serving clients such as real estate development and management entities, entities that own and operate HUD-insured, state housing agency, and conventionally financed multifamily rental real estate properties (market rate, affordable, and low-income housing tax credit properties). In addition to providing clients with financial statement audits, she also prepares Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) cost certifications, and provides advice regarding applying for, maintaining and complying with the requirements of the LIHTC. Her experience with not-for-profit organizations includes serving charitable social service, membership organizations and real estate entities, including affordable housing and government-subsidized housing. She has extensive experience auditing organizations subject to a Single Audit under the provisions of OMB Uniform Guidance. “Elise brings a wealth of experience to our firm," said Claire Iacobucci, CPA, Shareholder and Director of Audit Services.
