KLR, one of the top 3 regional accounting firms in the New England area, announced today that James P. Carney, CPA has joined the firm as a Senior Tax Manager.

James P. Carney, CPA/PFS, CVA has over 30 years of public accounting experience that includes private wealth tax services for high-net worth clients, as well as specializing in partnerships and S Corps. He is also involved in the preparation of business valuations, primarily for estate and gift tax purposes.

Jim received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). He is a past president of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Worcester County.
