Honor marks the 5th straight year the Firm has received the annual award.

For the fifth straight year, KLR has been recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield Rhode Island with an Exemplary Worksite Health & Wellness Award for providing employees with a healthy workplace. BCBSRI recognizes the outstanding achievements of businesses for implementing employee health & wellness programs.

“Our wellness program focuses on helping our employees maintain a healthy work-life balance,” said Steve Loffredo, Human Resource Director. “Wellness programs promote a better lifestyle, which can help reduce healthcare spending and allow employees to live happier and healthier lives.”

Sponsored by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island in partnership with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, the awards feature separate categories for small business (less than 50 employees) and large businesses. KLR will be acknowledged at a Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island event later this spring honoring businesses and organizations that have successfully instituted worksite wellness programs.
