KLR launched their third annual survey of New England manufacturers, which was developed to learn more about the needs of manufacturers. Last year, this survey provided valuable feedback from over 130 manufacturers.

The 2017 results highlighted the variety of challenges facing manufacturers, including: weakening domestic demand, lack of qualified workers and rising operating costs. Uncertainty with the new administration’s tax reform is also on the minds of many business owners.

The web-based survey launched on April 23, 2018 and can be accessed at Take our 2018 Survey. Any New England manufacturing owner, CEO or senior level executive is eligible to participate. The survey is confidential and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Deadline for participation is May 14, 2018. Survey participants will receive a Manufacturing Summary Report after the results have been tabulated.

Survey results will be released this summer, and will be available to business leaders by visiting our website.
