Candidates applying for this position will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state and international tax returns
• Create tax planning ideas and strategies for individuals, multi-state and multinational corporations and partnerships
• Prepare and organizing tax files and prepare projections for year end tax strategies
• Prepare financial reporting and tax preparation, including tax planning services for corporate and individual tax clients
• Research complex tax and financial reporting issues
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices

Job Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting
• Master’s degree preferred
• CPA or CPA track highly preferred
• 1-2+ years prior experience in public or industry accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, include Excel, Word and Teams
• Detail-oriented, fast learner
• Works well on a team/team player
• Strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast paced environment

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with increased hours during our peak season: January through April and August through October. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which include weekends.
