KLR is pleased to announce that David Desmarais, CPA, a Partner in the Firm’s Private Client Services Group, was elected to the board of the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC).
BEPC provides educational programs and networking opportunities to help its members build and strengthen relationships, learn about ideas and strategies, and share thought leadership.

David Desmarais has over 20 years of experience advising high net worth individuals and their families in tax matters. He holds a BA in Accounting from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, an MS in Taxation from Northeastern University and a MBA from Nichols College.
The Boston Estate Planning Council is one of the oldest and largest interdisciplinary estate planning councils in the country, tracing its roots back to 1930. The Council today includes a diverse array of professionals working in the greater Boston area, including attorneys, accountants, bank and trust officers, wealth managers and advisors, financial planners, insurance agents, appraisers, planned giving specialists, and other allied professionals.
